Sad to see this happen as Right Stuf was one of the 1st places I ordered anime DVDs back in the day. But was more sad when I heard it was purchased and they started removing "problematic" items.

This is what happens when the company that was responsible for High Guardian Spice gets a hold of anything anime. They shut down a business that prioritizes giving fans the good stuff so they can advertize their censored shit. What a real shame, cause Rightstuf was one of the best around.

Now would be the time to create a list full of RightStuf alternatives for North American and other International customers. "BuyAnime" and "Robert's Anime Corner Store" are examples that come to mind and can definitely be added to that list. Sadly, "Robert's Anime Corner Store" doesn't accept PayPal as a method of payment. The variety that "BuyAnime" has to offer is still very limited at this time.😢

I'll assume that non-Crunchyroll-items (from e.g. Sentai Filmworks, Discotek Media, etc.) will be excluded and delisted from their catalog in the near future. I wonder if international customers (who don't live in North America) will still be able to order e.g. Region A Blu Rays. What is an absolute certainty is the fact that RightStuf accounts, that don't originate from the US or Canada, will not be migrated to Crunchyroll.

My RightStuf account is definitely going to get terminated very soon, as it's neither a US nor a Canadian account.

The very last thing I bought from RS was the complete Cromartie High. The first thing was Urusei Yatsura 1 on VHS. What a run.

Those lowlives at Funimation try to have a chokehold on the anime scene, they add their personal politcs to the dubs, they try to monopolize distribution of all sorts of series. They acquired the rights to stream & Dub a series called "Interspecies Reviewers" without looking into the manga. Fully canceled the dub & streaming of the series by episode 3. So the only way to watch it is to sail the seas. Then a beacon of light appears as their rights end & RightStuf picks up the exclusive rights to distribute the anime, which they do in the form of a Blu-ray set. Then Funimation acquires Crunchy Roll & RightStuf then quickly remove all Interspecies Reviewers products from the site. Yet another thing they drive into the ground.
