Resource Management with Microsoft Project for the web

Project for the web Resource Management is here!

Microsoft continues to enhance their offering with Project for the web, Bookings (not to be confused with Microsoft Bookings, an appointment scheduling app). Considered the basis for Resource Management, the Bookings feature is in the Resource Scheduling app. The Bookings feature allows project managers to book resources against a project, providing visibility to resource managers regarding capacity to load for resources. 

Executives also gain insight regarding workforce supply and demand for future planning purposes. In this blog we will give a step-by-step approach to utilizing Resource Management via Project for the web Bookings as provided out of the box by Microsoft.

Thanks for the demo. But it would have been helpful to point out that this only works with Dynamics365 Field Service, Project Service, or Customer Service, which most organizations with Project for the Web won't have.

Great, crisp vide! Enjoyed it very much only missing one thing:) @03:39 you show example of available hours per person. Could you please make an example how the availability is entered in the first place to be calculated in such a way? I understand that there is a calendar that needs to be filled per person and certain hours assigned per person per project, is this information sufficient to calculate availability through resource planning? Thank you.

Great Demo, thanks, but i don't see any hours allocated for my resource in the scheduler. I use a bookable resource with default work template calendar and i created a resource request for project.
