In my personal experience, even though we see all these stories online of pets coming back from the edge, once they’re that far gone making a recovery is the exception rather than the rule. You can do everything right and 9 times out of 10 you still can’t save them, but we still try our best for that 1/10 chance that they’ll be alright after the right care and right meds.

I’m glad that you tried to save the fish, sometimes however when an animal with health issues doesn’t get bought, it sits there, especially if someone doesn’t know how to fix it
