Fancy goldfish are notorious for requiring closer care. Some require warmer water, so if you dont have one maybe look into a heater. And all fish can benefit from a varied diet but goldfish especially need plant matter, like boiled pees and brocolli. Having more fiber will help reduce swim bladder problems and aid in digestion, which is vital as goldfish are heavy feeders. Also mealworms I've heard also help with protein. They also appreciate having a subrate to filter through, so adding sand can keep the fish stimulated. And as you keep plants, having pothos or ferns growing in the water help greatly at keeping nitrate levels safe for fish, this would also mean you'd need less water changes, shocking the fish less. I know that your fish are beautifull but please remember they are more than that, they are living creatures that deserve a full healthy life. I hope some of these tips help.

This is incredibly worrisome. Before getting any pet you should do plenty of research and I bet that you would not have killed that many fish if you did so. Some fish require more care than others. Don’t choose a high-maintenance ANYTHING before educating yourself and maybe having a starter-fish.
All animals deserve proper care, please don’t sacrifice them just to have a decorative item.
To anyone who may say I’m being too serious, I’m doing this because I’ve seen this happen way too often.

Your Fish got something called ammonia burn which is when you do not change enough of the water weekly I have a 55 gallon long tank with 4 goldfish and I do a 50-75% water change weekly and I have plants all over fancy goldfish are adorable but need very specific care
