You don't get enough credit, subscribers or views; honestly you are the best youtuber out there. I cannot thank you enough for working even more than what you already do to bring out a video each day during this horrible time, which I must say here in Spain is worst than any can imagine. Your videos help cheer me up every day ❤️ Hope that you will soon get the attention that you deserve 😘😘

Idea: Josie, would you pull out your top 5 pieces and show us how they apply to this? Watching you talk, how about show us? Maybe even a "thumbs down" example or two? Thanks for all you do!

Quenstions i ask myself when shopping:

so I actually made a list and it helped me!☺️ it showed me the reality: I only wear comfy things in neutral light colors to look clean. I never wanted to be that girl that prefers comfortable clothing, because I want to be elegant and feminin. But I realized it just doesn’t fit my lifestyle right now and because of lighter colors and some comfy blouses, I can still have that feminin touch!🥰 (I hope you all write a list yourself and find your style!)

2018 Me: goes through closet, purchases style book, identifies style. Believe I’ve nailed it.
2019 Me: YouTube logarithm gives me Josie. Change my color palette to rose, cream, and olive; add lots of feminine pieces.
2020 Me: Love my closet! Thank you, Josie! 💕

Simply watching you makes me feel so cheered up, especially during time like this. Best of luck with everything. You work so hard and put so much thoughts in your videos. Seriously if I could register for thousands of accounts and help you reach 1 million I would...

Hi Josie, This is a 'timeless' video and any age group can benefit from the 'stylist' tips you provided. This video will definitely be part of my playlist. I just love how you organized the steps to go through evaluating one's wardrobe to be prepared for future purchases. You create great content and so happy I decided to click on one of your videos. Your channel is part of my subscription list. Congratulations to you!

Maybe I am the only one, but I have very different styles that I love so my wardrobe have different things not just a specific style

It's been most helpful following you especially when it comes to shopping new items & spring cleaning. Its definitely hard to move past something you love, but know you'll never wear. Or letting go of an item you love, but just don't wear.

Josie, loved every tip, as usually :D! Thank you for this! <3 <3 My style is a transition between a "gone in the wrong direction" style - I usually use black jeans with any shirt that I can find - with a feminine and classic style, because, since I started to follow your youtube channel (and Freddy's!) these tips are helping me to find a more feminine and "put together" style - without losing my "casual style". And, at the same time, your helping me accepting my body (I'm small and without and any chest :p) so I usually "hide" behind huge clothes because I don't have the confidence to wear, for instance, a low V-neck shirt. But seeing you wear it and rock it, I'm trying to accept my "flaws" as "unique" so I'm starting to use those type of pieces. I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing all these tips and for inspiring me to find my "hidden" me :p

You are truly a treasure of knowledge when it comes to fashion. I've learned so much from you, and I'm still learning. 😊 Thank you. I will keep these questions in my head, next time I'll go shopping.

Going through pics in my phone helped. It shows you where you really were and how you looked, what you actually wore. Mind plays tricks.

Your recent content is amazing, Josie, it’s astonishing you haven’t got more followers. I’ve watched your channel right from the start and have seen you develop and mature as a YouTuber. As one of your more mature viewers, your advice still resonants with me. In my twenties and thirties I purchased clothes randomly and was surprised that I only wore jeans and a t shirt as nothing else in my wardrobe would go together. Over the years I have purchased less but better. I may spend more but seek out high quality garments that fit and flatter me which I can wear for years. The size of my wardrobe has shrunk but I’m wearing a greater proportion of it. I’ve curated the staples which form the backbone of my wardrobe and I know will work with more trend lead pieces. I only wish someone had told me your advice 20 years ago so that I hadn’t wasted so much time, effort and money!

I love your videos about style! I actually took a look at my Instagram back when I was posting more often and was really happy with my pictures and what I was wearing in those. My clothing is a mix of classic all black outfits, girlie pink doll-ish looks, and bold red pieces. When I'm feeling the most comfy with myself, I''ll usually wear more pink or neutral colourrs. My style is girlie with an edge. I also look at who I follow more on Youtube and Instagram - it's either girlie or edgy girls, normally blondes, so I definitely relate the most to the blonde girl aesthetic.

Oh my goodness! This video was fabulous!! I came here to watch this video because of the video you released today February 20th 2022 and recommended it… it is without a doubt the best video I’ve watched about finding your personal style! So relatable and easy to follow, I’d love to see some more videos like this maybe breaking down each section even more with examples… loved it!!!

I'd like to add, if you're like me, hourglass shaped and rather short, then a good rule of thumb is if a garment looks good on a mannequin (or model) or the hanger, it probably won't look good on your body type.

I was listening to everything she was saying, but all I could think about was: "Her style is so dang beautiful!!"
