Albanians will always respect every race just somtimes they will give you a stare like they want to harm you but don’t worry it’s just out of curiosity it’s normal for them to stare

We are not racists. It’s just the fact that we haven’t got used to be around people of different colors because basically we only interact with our own kind. We rarely get to see a black man in person in our country. That’s why you might feel like they are being racists towards you but it’s not the case. They are just surprised. Especially the elders. Anyone is welcome in Albania regardless of color.

I'm going to albania to visit there in the future I know how other countries are already it's fine. I get that and I understand. Many countries doesn't see many african americans there and I know you'll be curious where I would come from or if I come from a different place. I respect it.

I had a friend from Mali, told me about his parents visiting rural China before he was born and that while they did get a lot of looks it was mostly because then the locals had never seen anyone from so far away and so different but were very happy just meet someone new

Fun fact albania had more jews after ww2 than before it this demonstrates how albania is one of the least racist nations yet we are still somehow regarded as racists

It's been my experience that there's a time in place for everything and it seems like Albania is not the place for certain people of color maybe ethnicity that's not what I heard but from what you're saying seems like that thanks for the heads up

This is definitely it, bro. We are too emotionally isolationist for racism. We just do not see many non-Albanians. Im Albanian and even I get looks because of my American hip dress code. I also give curiosity based looks to everyone in Albania that isnt Albanian. Its mostly about asking myself what brought them there.

As an Albanian I can confirm this. People are just curious and want to ask you lots of questions unfortunately we don't have many black people living in Albania only a small amount in the capital city.
