AI Literacy

The emergence of generative A.I. technologies such as ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion have set off waves of awe, excitement, and panic. The capacity of these technologies to work with large, complex text commands and generate critically acclaimed art to human like intelligence demands for critical reframing of our institutions, even companies like Google are in “code red alert” in response to the release of these tools. This final workshop in our series will first take a step back to consider what costs us and our planet’s resources to create and power these tools.
