The emergence of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT has prompted a wide and urgent debate about how such tools should or could be used in teaching and learning. More fundamentally, it has raised questions about AI literacy - the set of skills and competencies that are needed for both educators and learners to successfully adapt to this new environment.
