I have the same problem but with text messages. And if I don't answer that day, it won't get answered. Therefore 90% of my texts don't get answered. At least those close to me know to just call me.

How did I just connect that you're røry?? Omfg your song help your friends get sober has been on repeat since my dad died. And your videos help me so damn much with explaining how my brain works and not feeling so alone. Thank you for being you. You've seriously changed my life for the better❤

Or the other side where you go right I'm gonna reply right away and then you get paralysed trying to work out how to word your response until you decide to come back to it later but your brain ticks it off as task completed leaving you genuinely confused when the person follows up asking for a response. It happens more often than I'd like to admit.

Thinking about a fictional urgent email that a fictional person receives in this video almost caused me too much stress to finish the video.

Neurologically accurate.
I never ever thought that so many of my habits and choices in life were decided on the basis of combating or playing into my ADHD

*Takes 20 minutes or more to write back a satifying response to any work email

Oh lordy. 😂 Yes. Constantly. Leaving so many things unread to remind me. Then, when I inevitably accidentally open the message, and still don't reply, I leave it as an open tab to again "remind myseld". And thus the story goes one and on until I have a collection of tabs. Ta da!

I did that recently, but with snail mail. My bank mailed me something; all I had to do was check my balance, sign my name and mail it back. They sent it a few months ago in December and I sent it back yesterday. It took a few minutes out of my day, and for some reason, I couldn't touch it for 3+ months.

Emails, texts and phone calls all do this to me let's not talk about what a knock on the door can do 😂

As a person with ADHD I've learned to respond to everything immediately cause I also don't like inconveniencing people lol

I tend to read the message, usually decide to think about it since it's something important. and then forget 😂

“Let’s leave that as unread to remind me to look at it later…” is so relatable😅
