The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

It is so rare, so precious when a sinner comes to Christ. For a murderer to repent and be transformed into a follower of Christ is a miracle. So many murderers revel in their deeds and display of power over others through out their lives until they leave this world.

We were all born sinners, and it builds daily until we realize this. And knowing WE, ourselves, even through being "good" cannot change that, we need a Savior to save us from our sin, we need the forgiveness from our sinnless Lord. That forgiveness, that cleansing of our sinning soul can only occur through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. And only through Him are we saved, and only by Him will we be redeemed. As nobody reaches the Father except through Him.

New video, learning new things of the heart.

For the Hindu, Cliffe should have mentioned why Christ was able to absorb our debt, because Christ had no debt of his own.

Many people fail to realize that any sin, however big or small, severs us from God. When we compare our shortcomings to God, who is truly pure and holy, we all fall short and require mercy to be spared. The first student doesn’t realize that we are infinitely closer morally to the worst human to ever live than we are to being pure and holy. Looking at someone worse than you and saying “at least I didn’t do that”, will not cut it on judgement day. Lord, have mercy on us all ❤️✝️

The Hindu failed to realize that Jesus paid the price for our punishment

The difference and part of the issue which many people don’t explain the right way is free grace is different then free salvation. Salvation is free by belief in Christ, but in order to keep our eternal life we need to do the things the Bible instructs us to do, and to do Gods will.

To better understand what Cliffe and Sturt were trying to explain to the Hindu guy, these two explanations might help:

"The Death of Jesus and Its Atonement (The Mass Readings Explained Intro)"

and

"What Calvinists Get WRONG About Atonement w/ Dr. Scott Hahn"

I can't see how hard the justice, mercy, and grace of Christ is to understand

I never used to be a believer until I had an experience one night a couple months ago that left me with no doubt there's much much more to all this. It took me to my knees sobbing accepting Christ. I used to roll my eyes at all this stuff, but we know so very little about anything. We don't even know what reality is. There is def something withing the realm of physics with the death of Christ that we just don't understand yet where our free will and acceptance flips a switch or something within our consciousness or soul. Our laws of physics are different than the laws of the quantum realm. Why would it be any different for a being standing outside of space time? People are so ready to believe we were created by Aliens but don't stop and ask Who created the Aliens? We are so short sited and the only limits are ones we put there ourselves. It's impossible because WE said so. If you were to create a system or a world using some sort of code and needed to make some changes you would inject something the system recognizes speaking a language the system understands. Like Jesus sent as a man speaking the truth in human language. I'm a new believer, but that experience that night and the realizations that this is much more likely than I even thought, changed my life that night and I've been obsessed with Jesus ever since. Seeing the blind resistance from the other side seems so very intentional. There are things at play that we can only begin to try to grasp. I blessed to be a part of it with the rest of you. <3

Matt Hasslebeck lost his only Super Bowl (XL) but the game was known for it’s poor officiating. Your point remains the same I just wanted to clarify as a follower of Christ who happens to be a sports nerd. 😂
