My grandmother work in the skunk works. He loved her job. My grandfather retired off the U2 and SR 71. When grandpa was diagnosed with dementia he spoke about crazy things he saw and worked on. But after reading about some of the things he spoke about he wasn’t crazy the dementia just unlocked all the secrets. We miss them everyday.

My grandfather was an OSS officer after ww2 and worked with skunkworks programs 50’s-70’s. Always said the same things and no matter what technology is out, “the good guys” are 60-75yrs ahead of it.

Skunkworks is 50-100 years of what you see in the movies and on TV. Former VP of product developed that was my grandpa war buddy told me when I was about 12 in 1996. We had all just finished watching Independence Day, and I asked him if we really had a ufo at Area 51. He just laughed and said what’s a ufo?? Then said what you see in the news or on TV were 100 year past that

Lockheed/ Martin has a facility here, We built a new parking lot for them, Every morning security searched us phones stayed in the vehicles, Anytime employees needed to come out we had to shut down the heavy equipment face away from the building, a camo military semi showed up one morning about a hour into work, they made us go home for the day, Security guy told me they make Cruz missile guidance systems, All the components and aiming systems for our fighter jets, they also build the reaper drones
