In my engineering degree tier list video where I talked about the best engineering degrees this was one of the degrees that I mentioned. You don't necessarily want to go for the highest paying engineering degrees because engineering majors already make really good money. If you're going to go to university and get a college degree in engineering, realize it will be extremely rigorous unless you're a genius and for that reason it won't be for everyone. But if you can do it you should choose the best FOR YOU, the one that fits YOU the best, because most engineering degrees are good overall.

I'm an industrial engineering major and it is the best move I've made in my entire life. Because of its flexibility I was able to apply and obtain a variety of internships in college. It let me narrow down my preference and I'm going to be working in big tech. Meanwhile my other Engineering peers are either compromising heavily due to stiff competition or obtaining no work experience.

Proud IE here! This course would definitely be part of your everyday life.

Im an industrial engineer and I totally recommend it.
I have been living in Argentina and now I’m working in production in Australia.
I really like that the degree gave me the knowledge and confidence to be part of decision related with production but also with some other aspects of the company.
In my opinion industrial engineering gives the freedom to work in different parts of a company!
If you try to find a job as an industrial engineer you are not going to find it easy, just try to find it as the field that you want to work in. That’s the way I got the job that I have now .
I hope it helps ! Thanks!

I have an Industrial Engineering degree and worked for 4 years as an IE in manufacturing plants. Then I became a management consultant, started a software company, took it public, started another one after that. I have spent most of my career as a CEO of software companies. I have used my industrial engineering mindset every day as a software industry CEO. IEs are change agents and organizers of people, systems, and processes and those things are key activities of senior management.

I hold 4 degrees, including law....hands down the best degree was IE.

I have a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering; I would say it’s totally worth it. DoMains that are in high demand are Data/Business/Marketing Analytics, Data Science (Masters degree preferred), Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineer in that order of demand!! It’s the marriage of Business and Engineering. We are mostly considered a jack of all trades so most of us go on to specialize/get a masters in IE, MBA, Stats, Analytics/Data Science!!

I’m an industrial engineer in the healthcare field and love my career. I have the opportunity to not only help physicians, nurses, and health systems, but I am also able to positively impact patient lives and can confidently say the improvements I’ve made have saved lives.

The versatility of Industrial Engineering is definitely the best. I got my bachelor's in IE, doing my master's in Engineering Technology, and working with renewable energy and data science. As an IE, I felt like I had numerous options and offers to choose from, which is perfect if you need that sort of flexibility.

As an Industrial Engineer, you can even go into finance or consulting… tons of people from my Uni do this and get at least as good opportunities as Business graduates.

i’m currently working towards getting my B.S in Industrial & Systems Engineering. Just started my upper divisions and i’m loving how the classes teach you useful things regarding business and the real world. Not just a bunch of math, physics, and chem. I recommend people try it if they’re unsure on their major.

I'm currently 15 years old, and turning 16 next month. Ever since I was 12, I've had my heart set on becoming an industrial engineer, so I'm genuinely thrilled to learn more about it. 😃

I’m a third year IE student and I LOVE IT! I just scored my first internship as an IE for a major corporation and I’m so excited for the potential to move into other leadership roles and the flexibility that the degree offers. Best decision I’ve ever made!

Industrial Engineering the course itself is amazing it has alot of topics being covered so you'll never get bored, downside tho if you live in the Philippines it isn't worth it unless you got great connections if no, it would be too difficult to enter a high paying job.

I'm defending my thesis of IE next week, good to see the result of this video !

The versatility of IE curriculum is actually a double edged sword. It can open up a lot avenues but at the same it can be limiting due to a lack of specialization. A solid choice if you can make the most of it!

I’m in my last semester in high school and I’ve chosen and applied for IE as a career just as a step one to my target which is entrepreneurship. And when u said it’s really flexible and relates to business and entrepreneurship I was so happy because I never thought I’d find a major that meets my goals and personality and love for physics and math this much. Thank you
