My adult children actually did an intervention with me...and my food pantry. We took everything out. (They threw away ALL my expired food!) Knocked out all the old shelving-- killed all the pantry moths. Scrubbed and repainted the walls. Then we went to IKEA and got kitchen cabinets with no doors and remade the space. I then got clear bins from The Container Store. The result was EPIC! I think I will be able to keep it uncluttered for the rest of my life! (I will try to figure out how to send Cas a video of the finished product.

I loved that you didn't criticize anyone in the videos. Everyone was a winner, no matter what bug they were. A fun future video would be to have us send videos of a small space we want help with. You show the videos and talk through your suggestions.

I am a very organized lady bug for sure, but I take from the other types when it's useful. I did not do that naturally, but when I started watching this channel, I started. Sometimes, being able to see things is really practical and helpful. Clear lazy susans have made my bathroom and spice cabinets super functional and easy to use. Clear pantry containers are the same way. If I can see that it's flour or rice, I don't need to label it unless I am distinguishing between types. Even with labels, my eyes know where to go quickly with clear containers behind closed doors. When things are out, I use opaque containers and baskets to hide things in a beautiful way. And, I often use baskets to hide things behond closed doors. It just depends on what it is. I do love beauty and functionality.

I want to thank you for your videos.
I have realized that I’m a cricket ( trying to be on steroids)
I fall into major depression when I feel overwhelmed by house cleaning and bills. My husband is on medical leave so things have been stressful and tight.
My husband is declining mentally and his memory is failing.
I literally was frozen w anxiety and depression since the day after Christmas.
I one day began watching your videos and something in me moved.
I found out my cricket ways, then proceeded to gently begin tackling each room.
It’s hard when you need to buy storage containers and labeling things but I’m doing it little by little.
Your content was my saving grace to begin to live again.
My sense of pride after organizing each area is immense.
I never knew just how much joy I got from having my home clean and organized. You changed my life. I wanted you to know that.
Thank you. 💙

I want to be a cricket because I love how their spaces look, but honestly? I am the most fluttery butterfly that was ever a butterfly. Hahaha. 😂 Thanks so much for showing all these spaces in the real world!!

The label in the 2nd bathroom that says "FLESH WOUNDS" is an A+ reference for me. 'Tis but a scratch!

I'm a very disorganized butterfly and I love seeing all of these spaces! I'm especially interested in the butterflies who were able to fly above their natural tendencies and work with their organizing styles to have organized homes. There is hope for me!

What I did this summer is really pull the neighbors together. I have a projector that I use for the holidays - you know Halloween (My favorite holiday) and Christmas. Anyway, my next-door neighbor has an 11-year-old girl and the people across the street have 2 boys. They always play in my yard and use the basketball net as my son just turned 19. I have done movie night at my house. The first one was in the front yard through the window and my neighbor asked if I could make the screen bigger, so the next one was in the back on the garage door. We saw King Kong-Skull Island and then King Kong vs Godzilla New Empire. It's so much fun we grab lawn chairs, snacks, drinks, blankets. We do this on a Friday or Saturday weather permitting - since I have to work those are the days that I can stay up late. It's like a drive-in without driving. Even my 19 yr. came at the end of the first movie and was totally upset that we didn't tell him about the second one right away. He came with a friend. Everyone had a great time and just a fun way to enjoy summer and bring neighborhood together. Here is to more fun summer times together.

My favorite was the last one!! You don’t have to have a super wealthy home to make it look smart and organized!! It made it look like he has tons of space even though it’s a small apartment but the truth is his organization was the key to having more available space. Great video, Cas!!

Cas, thank you so much for featuring my visual kitchen. It made my day! The mug wall is a display of my mugs from trips to different countries. It’s an accent wall in my kitchen, not my everyday mugs, those are inside a cabinet. The shoe organizer with snacks in my pantry is on the inside of the pantry door, the outside is just a white door. My kitchen is for a family of 4 and we cook ALL the time. I love kitchen things and yes, I make use of every inch! My butterfly husband also cooks and my pre-teen boys also fully use it. Having it organized this way makes it easy for the whole family to put things away behind a door or inside a drawer but still super visible and easy to put away, using turntables and baskets with no lids, easy to drop things into them. I didn’t submit videos yet of parts of my house that I’m the only user, those are more ladybug type for bathroom and a mix of ladybug/bee for my office, I would say. I love your videos, Cas!!

I feel in my heart I'm a cricket, but having 7 children I've settled for being a ladybug. In choosing my battles, it's more important to me for stuff to be out of sight than micro organized.

I am 72 years old, I planned and took my husband and our two youngest grandchildren both boys and brothers on a train ride from Tacoma Washington to Portland Oregon. We went to a restaurant ate and returned to the train station to come back to Tacoma it will be a memorable experience for us all!

This cricket is running to buy clear pencil cases! I've been using toilet paper rolls for cord organizers for years. Im married to a butterfly, but since I know this now, I'm a lot more relaxed about his stuff. What a great video Cas!

There's something so satisfying about seeing different types of organization, as if each space was a puzzle / tetris board and everyone found their own unique way to solve / fill it. Makes you realize organization can have many different looks and also which one you lean towards the most.

I know that you didn't list this video as inspiration, but whoa. I think I need to rewatch to make a shopping list. So many things that I could immediately do and use. Thank you!

Ending on Adrian was a good call. Adrian, say hi to your pupper and kitty for us! What cuties!
As someone in a household with very mixed organizing styles, all of these were so relatable in their own ways... Thank you all for inviting us into your homes!

I so hope this repeats and with more ladybugs and butterflies having the courage to show their places. Since I love how you and your organisation ideas allow for being OK to not aspire to be a cricket. So cricket though, they would be the ones to send you their videos. Love them all.

Definitely feeling like a butterfly when I'm watching this. But I have intense admiration for the cricket style.
