I use a holosun aems and a mecanik mo3 one has a 50k battery life and the other has a 60k battery life. I shoot 4 times a week plus competitions and dry fire for half a hour every night at least. and haven’t changed my batteries out since May and they are still as bright as when I put them in. This seems like a lot of wasted money. I think if your mostly using for range use. You should just keep extra batteries in your bag and always check them before you start shooting that day. If it’s a edc gun maybe every year just depending on what optic you are running.

I thought i was gunna see you change the batteries. I was wondering how those AAs go in that optic. Also i don't use batteries for my optic, i have a Fibre optic light collected. It's powered by the sun.
