I was satisfied when Hal destroyed the tape. Lois thinks she is right all the time. She is self-centered. The reason Hal and the boys did is because they don't want to see Lois get angry with them like she always does. They wanted a break from her constant ranting and uncontrollable outbursts. Lois is a control freak.
