i already see the after credits scene in this movie. stark, banner and shield soldiers are on a submarine under water and they see captain america's body frozen in ice and one of them goes: "sir, we'v found him" then nick fury's face appears on a screen and smiles

@braldoca it's either that or the begining before he was frozen and they tell the story in reverse

@shagoosty They were trying to avoid competing with Transformers 3, after all, Transformers was supposed to premiere just 3 days earlier (though they ended up releasing it even earlier).

@JackOfSpades93 The original comic story was that the Avengers found him in I believe it was issue 4. From that issue on he became an Avenger.

@JCole131 Nope. This movie is bookended (i.e. starts and ends with) by scenes set in the modern day. It begins with Steve Rogers being found in the Arctic (the scene from this ad) and ends with.. well, it's anybody's guess for now, although it's known that Nick Fury will invite him to join the Avengers.

@Arangarta If you don't mind my suggestion, you should really get Thor on DVD or Blu-ray when it comes out. It was a pretty entertaining movie!

@HoodyGB Don't think he gets beaten in this film, might do though. In one comic series he actually wins, since under his command one of his agents shoots Captain America and kills him.

@josh1212121 actually the scene where they find him in modern times could be seen in the beginning of this trailer. i'm wondering if they'll make the whole ww2 story a flashback storywise.
