Imagine if he just kept going and ignored Peggy

"and on that rooftop"
"beside that grocery store"
"in front of that school..."

Steve Rogers after reuniting with Peggy post-Endgame:

“I got beat up by a God. And a robot. And Bucky. And Howard’s son. And a guy wearing a cat suit. And a mad Titan. And—“

This scene isn’t just important for character development, it’s also important for later on when he chases the HYDRA agent and knows of the many streets and shortcuts

To me, the most appealing thing about Steve Rogers all along was his attitude. If I met a man with his conviction and integrity, I'd be thrilled. Everything he does, before and after the experiment, reflects his moral compass. The Super Soldier serum changed his body, but his heart was always the same. Tony once said that everything special about Steve came out of a bottle, but the truth lies closer to a remark he made to Peter Parker: "If you're nothing without the suit, you don't deserve the suit." Steve Rogers always had the heart of a hero.

"You have no idea how to talk to a woman do you?"
"I think this is the longest conversation I've ever had with one"

We've come from a long way, from this scene to kissing her niece

They have genuine chemistry.

Or if they don't, they're damn good actors to make it seem like they do.

I think I know why Steve and Peggy fell in love: they were two strong willed people who had been denied opportunities, one because he was small and skinny and the other because she was a woman.

Steve: "Women aren't exactly lining up to dance with a guy they might step on."
Peggy, mentally: "I wouldn't mind stepping on you"

I feel like you can see more of Steve’s personality in this clip.

I think Peggy started falling in love with Steve when he threw himself on the dummy grenade. His bravery, heart, and ingenuity (as shown with the flagpole scene) was what made her fall in love with him.
