This told me nothing on how. Just showed little bits, which is fine, just don't drag me into the video with the thought of an in-depth analysis of the history of oculus

The second to last one is just the foam from a Virtual Boy.

The fabric was an inevitably crusted, messy mistake.

So basically what your saying is that they did what everyone who has designed a new product has ever create a proof of concept model and then various incremental prototypes until they reach a finished product. Great job on stating the obvious. How many people did it take to think this up?

Tbh the design hasn't changed much since like 1999 lol nice shill Wired but I think a more appropriate title is "How Oculus is making vr comfortable"

Imo the only thing really different here is the headphones, even though I'd rather a better pair but thats just me

Stop pretending that VR is new technology. It's been around for at least 15 years; just because it's now selling for personalized use on the U.S. market doesn't make it groundbreaking all of a sudden.

You all seriously acquiesced to the demands of the whiners? There really wasn't anything wrong with the audio in the previous version.

I would prefer a helmet -like style. For three reasons: 1. safity from disorientation, 2, a better sense of the wall between you and the real world, 3. simplicity, whereas a banch of wires and belts do not look simple and reliablle.
