it was the summer of 2006, an ignorant college student who just wanted a future. it was this heroic song that compelled me to join the Army.

Fast forward to my first day of boot camp, in the barracks. i am awoken at 4am by 3 drill sargeants who make everyone tow the line and recite the Army Song.

i look to my left. i look to my right. i was never taught the Army Song.... So I start humming

Dunnnn Dunnnn da da da da dun dunnn dunnn dan dun dun dunnnn

my drill sargeant screams "NO!" when i say THE ARMY SONG, i dont mean start humming the commercial!!!

from then on, i became the barracks legend and poster child

I was an 88M in the Reserves a few years ago, have since gotten out and to this day this commercial still get’s me emotional!!….. ❤️🇺🇸 What a mess our country is now……. 😔 💔
