The commercial had less than 10 seconds of actual military training. I joined in 2005. As an NCO, I can definitely say there is a vast difference in the quality of soldiers coming to the unit. This commercial sums up why.

It’s a different experience getting into your bed for the first time and look at the ceiling in the dark at basic. It’s surreal and it’s an eye opener that you are doing things outside your comfort zone. As someone who’s been in the army and has deployed, that memory will then become your comfort zone
