CD laser reading Compact Disc

Some closeups of what goes on inside a CD player as it reads a disc. I took some footage for a video on CD player repair that I am working on, and thought it makes quite a good video on its own. I removed the plastic cover on top of the laser pickup so the lens and the coils that move it are visible.

I didn't know the laser beam was invisible even to the camera, I thought it would be like an infrared remote controller that's invisible to the naked eye but any camera can see it.
