Playing it on the Dolphin emulator allows for online battles and competitive tournaments! I own a PS2 copy but have mainly played the dolphin version for the last couple years :)

For me, all I did was homebrew my good old reliable Nintendo Wii and downloaded the game for it. Plus, I had a classic controller, which I personally recommend, especially if you despise motion controls. Not saying they're bad in that game, but I personally struggled to get used to it compared to other Wii games where it didn't take me too long to get a grip of them.

I Play it on my PS2 with Hdmi cable on a modern TV and it looks gorgeous.

Mclassic really brings classic ps2 games in life. Especially when shifting to retro mode (green light) for 4:3 ratio or regular 16:9 upscaling mode blue light.

(YES you CAN play the modded PS2 game in a old PS2. Just buy a "swap magic" disc.)

I play it on my series x 4k 60pfs with the ps2 emulator, great way to play fr fr. Only issue is its too fast i cant beat my old records on the loading screens cuz it loads as soon as the screen pops up🤣💀💀

It's a bigger screen, but most phone screens look better than that and are capable of emulating that game easily.

Ive found that the best way to play BT3 in 2023 is on my PS2 with a hard copy of the game, on my nice Sony trinitron bubble back T.V
