I got a copy of the gold MM and Controller for my birthday in 2000. One of the best gifts I ever received and I still have them both to this day.

The Gold N64 goes perfectly with the MM and OOT cart.

Kids today don’t understand the pain we felt playing for 4+ hours only to lose all progress because it froze and you forgot to save.

Used to play this game at a friends house around 2002-ish along with Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Goldeneye 007, Donkey Kong and Super Mario 64… Haven’t touched a N64 since so just seeing the cartridges is very nostalgic.

A wild, cleaned N64 console appeared.

At your prices the best way to play it is to emulate

I still got my original N64 when I got it back in 97'. So many good memories playing ocarina of time and majoras mask.

you forgot to add/check for the expansion pack! Normally you guys do that with DK64 of course 😉 This was one of the other games developed with the expansion pack in mind.

I thought you needed the expansion pack to play majoras mask

i played both the n64 and 3ds versions and had more fun with the 3ds version. maybe because i played through the n64 version first so i knew how to do some tricky stuff

The Nintendo 64 remains my favorite video game console of all time, and I will continue to cherish it even after I die. However, I have never even liked its controller due to its outdated design which is why I prefer to play its games on modern platforms like Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on Steam using an Xbox Wireless Controller. Hell, I even waited until Majora’s Mask 3D came out and then played it on a New Nintendo 3DS XL (while the title has been updated to version 1.1 which I installed in my digital copy of MM3D before starting a new game) all the way up to the very end and never the original N64 version which saved me the hassle of playing the same game in more than one generation.

I had the majoras mask cartridge that had a moving picture when you moved it back and forth. I heard that it’s worth a pretty good penny now oh how I wish my parents never lost all my stuff in the move

I had one these golden N64 consoles back as a child, never thought I'd see another many years later 😅

Still got my N64. Gifted to me in 1998. Bought the expansion pack and rumbler. Still works great. The only games it's ever seen have been OOT & MM. Played OOT on a 13" crt tv. I was new to gaming, and didn't have a clue what Zelda was all about. Those were two excellent games. Still play them.

Isn't it amazing that after all these years these old game consoles still function some old computers from the 1960's and 70's can still function to this day who knows how much life these consoles still have!
