Lmao I made the exact same thing back in the 80s. Now it's impressive. I used it to reasmble doors after painting them. It's not new... and patents don't mean shit china will duplicate it and sell for 1/2 price.

So how does this work when the door jamb need to sit tight against the finished flooring?

I just use the floor leveling jacks For cabinets but I use them for the door but you can put 2 of them and then level on it

Might be nice for a solid core door but a hollow core and a production trim carpenter wouldnt need it

In a perfect world. The framing is never perfect. But its a good tool. 👍

So when you open the door to screw it to the frame work how does it hold it level? That's my question.

Sorry but how you supposed to attach the lining to open if the jams and door is still attached. I’ve always just pinned 3 horizontal scraps (opposite side of the hinges) to hold the lining square and true to the face of finish level to make architraves easier (door removed) shimmed and fixed behind the jam line level to hinges to bear the weight and then when I put door back on I use exact same clamps I made from cheap mastic guns. When ya get ya groove on takes 10/15min per door max and home made clamps cost me £5. Don’t forget the penny spacer for decorators

Ok now put them to work . Set this door in.. see if it's that easy... Once to you unscrew the jam from door it's when fun starts.

Oh yeah?
And how about the 1/4 inch sag at the door top ( side opposite the hinges).
If it came with a hinge-knuckle-bender...that would save a few hours.

Also that’s being levelled from sub floor … who puts doors in before finished floor level unless it’s u doing the floor
