Hi Chris I noticed that one of your parallel compression FX channels is in mono, while the other one is in stereo. I notice most people just tend to send everything to one stereo group or FX channel. Does this matter too much when it comes to this sort of situation? Thanks

1:45 I think the sub doesn't come through fully in the video.Could it be that the video algorithm cuts of at 35Hz?
Adding punch I currently use the dbx6 compressor and smack attack (the lazy hack's way)

Great tutorial. Thanks a lot.
I got one problem. I use beat designer together with cubase groove agent.
Unfortunately there is no possibility to route the drum elements to individual tracks.
If I want to apply parallel compression to the drums without affecting the kick I have no other chance then putting the drum samples sample by sample on individual tracks in the cubase project.
Does anybody know a workaround with groove agent or beat designer to separate the drum elements on individual tracks?
Does any body know a drum machine that can route the elements on individual tracks?

I just purchased Cubase 10.5 pro and I would like use samples to replace a kick and snaire from a downloaded source.
