In the Phillippines we call cherimoya as guyabano. It's supposed to be sweet and soft when ripe. We even have it as one of the flavors of our juice drinks. The one they had is raw.

I have to say some words .... that chirimoya was not ready to be eaten, you have to wait until it is soft and it smells sweet. That's how you eat it. So, it's not fair your judgement of this chirimoya.

Wow well most of these fruits are from Asia so as an Asian I’ve had all of these fruits before and wouldn’t be considered exotic in my opinion but I love seeing people eat them tho
