Knicks Rumors: NBA Insiders LINK Andre Drummond & Kyle Lowry To Knicks In NBA Free Agency

New York Knicks news and rumors have linked the Knicks and 2 veteran free agents: G Kyle Lowry and C Andre Drummond. The Knicks traded for former Villanova F Mikal Bridges, reuniting the Villanova teammates of Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo. Kyle Lowry was also a guard at Villanova, making him a solid free agent target for the New York “Nova” Knicks to go after in the 2024 NBA offseason. Andre Drummond would be a great addition to this Knicks defense and Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau could use him to help Knicks C Julius Randle. If they can keep Hartenstein, I say get Drummond and trade Mitchell. If they lose Hartenstein, I say get Lowry (Scoring) if he accepts Veteran’s minimum. Does not make sense having both Mitch and Drummond, they are basically the same type player.

Having I Hart and Mitch on the same roster would be perfect. They complement each other incredibly well.

Pretty much the only move remaining to “my perfect offseason” is to bring I Hart back!!

If they can’t, or have to move Mitch in the process… Drummond is a decent option.
And lowery on the minimum would be nice

Drummond would be PERFECT for the Knicks. Playing behind either Hartenstein or Mitch. Lowry is only an add if they lose deuce in the Bridges trade

Anyone putting dudes over Drummond as best available option doesn’t know basketball. Drummond is aware of Knicks culture rn he will buy in to thibs. 100% we will need either way one of Mitch or ihart aren’t coming back. And AD fills the void. Dude is still a great rebounder and a underrated passer.
