JN. Out of these 3, I would pick Jusuf Nurkic. However I think the Knicks should really try to go after Wendell Carter instead. He's younger, faster, can score, rebound, pass a bit & can shoot some 3 pointers.

Nurk would give the Knicks the same thing Hartenstein gave us

RW is the only guy who plays good enough defense of these 3. If you can get Nance for a 2nd rounder go for it but otherwise why even bother. Nurkic has nice offense but seems like he would require more than he's worth, and is ultimately a big defensive liability.

Starting fine looks awesome as long as Mitchell Robinson stays healthy and doesn't get hurt

This whole time Robinson has had to anchor the entire defense for the Knicks without wings. It’s only now that they have Mikal Bridges and OG maybe this now takes some stress away from him at that center position and he may not get hurt this season. Hartenstein got to play with OG when Robinson got hurt, but even he got hurt eventually when Anunoby went down with a sore elbow. So let’s just see if Wendell Carter Jr at the trade deadline and Mitchell Robinson can get through the rest of the season at that point together and win the ECF with no one getting hurt, because we now have top tier defensive wings. This means my friend now Robinson doesn’t have to always do help defense like he did before where at some point his ankle could give out.
I believe he’ll be better off this year stress wise regarding his availability and defense, but at the same time still be a true menace and rim protector, but also he could possibly even show us something new like improving with free throws, or run the pick and pop in a range where he’s comfortable with Brunson who can work that out with him.
