Kuzma is represented by Austin Brown of CAA, who worked closely with colleague Leon Rose before Rose left the agency to join the Knicks as president. New York has several CAA clients, including Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, Isaiah Hartenstein and Obi Toppin. The Knicks add a more polished scorer, while CAA gets Kuzma to one of his preferred destinations on a new, sizable contract and Toppin to a team that may have a greater role for him. The Wizards could get their own first back and negotiate a price given how much New York has to offer.

I like the idea of trading for KK. But the trade depends on if we sign him to an extension of if he's just a rental. But during to off season you never know who will get traded. Could lose some guys for a big player. Or do you trade Randle while he's hot and not make the same mistake you made 2 years ago. I thin KK is a good insurance policy to have.

Trading for Kyle Kuzma isn't a bad idea. You get rid of Evan's contract, Cam is out of the rotation, so why not experiment with Kuz who has an expiring contract???
If it doesn't work out, then we say farewell and use that cap space for someone else, or keep him if it works out. We aren't risking anything with this trade.

Personally I think that trade would be beneficial to both teams maybe add a second round pick if that gets it done but I think that's helps both teams and I think kuzma could be a solid rotation piece whether starting or not
