Personally, I hate anything that is exclusive. From games being exclusive to only one system to content that differs from platform to platform. Which, the thing that I REALLY don't like is how Terraria is with this. Mind you, the console exclusive stuff isn't all the good to begin with but still. Temporarily, PC exclusively has the 1.3 content but that is in the works to be ported over to other platforms the game is on.

Ultimately, version exclusives only serve to divide up the fanbase as one side can end up claiming one as the 'master race' version to the other, feeding into various forms of trolling by giving something for them to really play off of. It's one thing for the console and other, non-PC, versions are behind in updates. It's a whole other thing that there's stuff that is exclusive between the different platforms the game is on.

This is why I love the Terraria community, people don't try to port things over to the PC because it ruins the point of experiencing Terraria in a different system or phone and it is the real reason why I would buy Terraria for every port it comes out in. Every time I play Terraria other than on the PC, it is a new experience and I love it

*So Re-Logic are using this "Device exclusive items/bosses" For three reasons..* * First..* Which is the minor reason in my opinion.. Is that it makes the people playing on one of these devices feel a bit special.. I don't think that that was intended.. *And the second reason* is that they made them exclusive because of the different codes.. So they added exclusive items to fill the gap of having the game updated much more slower than the PC version.. *And the third reason* is that some people might have all the devices Terraria is available on.. And bought all the versions.. So.. Re-Logic is gaining more money from this.. 8)

Just the fact that you can mod the PC version more than makes up for the content exclusive to other platforms in my opinion. Thorium on its own could possibly be mistaken as the _Terraria_ 1.4 update to the under-informed player, so I won’t light torches and sharpen pitchforks over a lot less content that I’ll never play, because screw playing _Terraria_ with anything but a keyboard and mouse.

Heart arrows freeze things in place. They even freeze bosses. It helps with the Eye of Cthulhu and The Wall of Flesh boss fights.

Honestly, the best exclusive feature on mobile is that Red's Wings are usable and have infinite flight, until 1.3 comes out.

Yeah I'm curious, how do they inforce this rule? I'm not against it, but what stops someone from making an ocram mod?

Minecraft also has p.c. updates before console and console before Mobil but there is no reason to play Mobil unless for the portability so their is no perks to at all
