Kahlúa coffee liqueur has been a vital ingredient of this iconic coffee cocktail since the very beginning.

Here’s how to get it right each time.

Into a cocktail shaker, put:
1 shot of Vodka (Absolut works best)
1 shot of Kahlúa coffee liqueur
1 shot of espresso

Shake with plenty of ice, pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with three coffee beans, or a twist of orange (if you’re feeling extra fancy).
