Some of these games were made specifically for little kids, like Leprechaun, Pot'O Gold, and Noah's Ark, etc. They were intended to get kids used to following instructions and use a joystick and an action button to complete a task on the screen. Once that was mastered they could move on to more challenging games and keep the quarter's flowing from the pockets to the coin-slots.

I used to go to coin-op arcades all the time, but I've never seen any of these Game Plan machines.

I might have come across Avenger back in the 70's. Looks familiar. The only other one I recall for certain is Tank Battalion.
