When i was a teen i remember my dad will not miss carte blanche on a Sunday evening i will sometimes join him .when my dad passed i continued never missing any episode. I was lucky enough to meet Derek in Ballito i ran up to him .he took time to chat with me in a car park. A truly humble guy. Rest in peace Derek and condolences to the family
