In a wide-ranging interview with 9Wants to Know, she talked about the son she raised, about his troubled marriage, about her grandchildren, and about the horror that began unfolding on Aug. 13.

The Watts family is despicable. Every single one of them lacks basic human empathy and decency. I can't get over how attached Chris was to his dad, how he asked his own father to hold his hand and dote on him during his trial and sentencing, but he murdered his own innocent beautiful children. His parents are sick for enabling him and giving him a supportive parental relationship when he denied this from his own children in the most violent and twisted way. "Why would he plead guilty if he didn't do it?" It's because he did do it! She has no concept of reality.
