Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

An example of how dangerous fire can be in the dry west and how easy it is for lightening to start a fire. Very impressive!

The real challenge would be seeing him survive in a city with thousands 😂 guys the real bushman. I’ve been watching the 30 day survival videos. Never watched a 3 hour YouTube video in my life but I was captivated. Awesome balance of exploration wildlife facts and interesting survival tips and just the beauty of nature accompanied by a host that clearly just loves the outdoors.

This is also a good example of how easy it is for forest fires to start. A small spark + fine, dry forest matter.
Great tip, thanks!
