I have a true story I personally am an Indonesian who is ethnically Chinese. Before 1945, precisely in Borneo, Kalimantan, Indonesia was colonized by Japan and the Japanese army prioritized killing ethnic Chinese who had a lot of wealth. My grandfather's father was also a victim because Japan was afraid that our ethnic Chinese would send money to the Chinese government. but times have changed china has become a world giant that dares to challenge america i want to ask you which asian country dares to challenge the united only china it's up to you japanese if you say i was brainwashed by the pkc but what is clear is history records even in indonesia that japan colonized indonesia cruelly i personally really hate japan and i think this hatred could trigger a war in the future currently japan is in a birth crisis and Japan often experiences natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis and I see that Okinawa seems to be controlled by America. This news is clearly covered up by the BBC and their gang.

Japan must apologize to countries in the Asian region, especially China, Indonesia, Malaysia,

As a Chinese, I appreciate the honest evaluation in this video. I have traveled to around 50 countries, initially with my father and later on my own as a backpacker. The people I met were all incredibly warm and kind. That was over a decade ago when I first went abroad, amazed by the development and excitement of the outside world, and when I returned to China, I felt that it was quite behind. Ten years later, I revisited some of those countries, and when I returned to China again, I was surprised to find that China had become more advanced compared to those countries. This is a fascinating shift in mindset.

I used to love Japanese manga in my childhood, but now I read only Chinese comics. I used to play games from the US, Japan, and Taiwan, but now I play Genshin Impact, Arena of Valor, and Wukong. I used to like Korean obba, but now my idols are Xiao Zhan😍 (actor) and Wang Shun🤩 (swimmer). My parents used to drive German cars, but now we have two Chinese electric vehicles.

I hope people won’t view present-day China through the lens of decades ago. I’ve been to Japan many times, and the ordinary people of Japan are truly kind. When Japanese people come to China, all Chinese people will also show them friendliness.

I totally agree with the young guy with burred face as a japanese. I'm truly ashamed of the people who doesn't aware what we have done in the past.

I would be curious what they have to say about the Nanjing Massacre and Unit 731. My impression is that Japanese people have extremely limited knowledge on these atrocities.

It's concerning to see so many Japanese youth confidently say that the Chinese have no historical reason to hate them, like are Unit 731, indiscriminate bombing of Chongqing and Nanjing Massacre not taught ever at schools?

The 2 girls is surprisingly more knowledgeable than even the older man about WW2.

The feeling is mutual. Japanese appears to be polite and Chinese appears rude but deep down it’s the reverse. Don’t let the appearance deceive you.

As a latin american i think people of colonialist countries like uk, japan or others european coountires should not feel shame from the wrong thing done in the past by their country but they should learn what really happened and acknowledge it.

Japan and Britain share dark chapters in their histories, which some may prefer future generations to forget by omitting them from school curricula. While these events are in the past, it is morally wrong to hide them in the hope that they will be erased from memory. The war crimes, including genocide and the many acts of brutality committed during these times, should be taught as important historical lessons. Bringing these sensitive topics to light is not something to be ashamed of; rather, it is more shameful to conceal the truth. By teaching new generations about these events, we can emphasize that conflicts and differences can be overcome for the greater good. Don't get me wrong about the USA. The USA is just as bad in the way they treated Native Americans and claimed the land as if it were theirs.

By the way, it is very interesting to see many interviewers comment on the way Japanese media portrays China. It sounds like the media are extremely biased and only talk and show the bad of China. I'm not saying China is wrong or right. But when the media consistently feeds people bad of other races/countries, it sends the wrong message.

The older gentleman at around 14:20 has a great outlook. Understands the past and believes people should look towards a future of peaceful and beneficial coexistence.

yes, China has any reasons to hold historical resentment towards Japan, especially if politicians still go to Yasukuni shrine to pay respects to war criminals

As a Chinese in China, I find this video very interesting. There are diversified opinions and for good reasons.

Interesting and unfortunate that Japanese people have to read manga to get a proper lesson on Japan's history. For the sake of international relations and making sure it never happens again, people really should know the atrocities commited by the old government.

The polls in Japan on views of China are very negative, recently 86.7% viewed China negatively which is a record all time low

The entire western sphere (Japan is actually included) is quite anti-China (borderline sinophobic) to be honest, so I expected those answers alredy.
Chinese people only have a grudge about the WW2 things that the government didn't apologize (imagine If Germany didn't apologize for their actions, would the world and their neighbours treat them the same as now). If you actually see japanese vloggers in China they're very welcomed.
