I mean, you can't even be mad at him. It's a hard play and he gave it his best effort.

Tbf that “devilish smile” is just Ranger’s default look.

Manager looking at Harper, every father has this look daily with their own kids! "what are you doing!"

That Phillies pitcher looks like “5 on diesel, $20 scratcher, roll of grizzly”

I saw that drop happen live and it really was a clip out of some movie watching it drop out of the glove followed by the slump and the head down with the brim of the cap covering his face. Thank goodness the movie had a happy ending (:

Oof. Same feeling when you drop your phone face down and don't know if it's broken until you check.

Rojas almost made a hell of a play. Glad his teammates had his back

I was at this game and we initially had no idea the ball had been dropped. For about 20 seconds, we thought Rojas made the incredible play and injured himself in the process. Even when I saw the batter rounding second base, I thought he was just making a turn back to the dugout. A moment later, they showed the replay on the jumbotron and a huge groan went through the 40, 000 strong, followed by applause because we love great effort. And in the end, it all worked out. Go Phils!

The CF waiting to congregate him last was such a nice touch and so real.

This is the closest I've ever come to shedding a tear for a Philladelphia sports team.

I do game day work for the Phillies High A team in New Jersey, Rajas was with us in 2022, and was one of THE nicest guys you could ever meet. Glad he is having success with the big club.

I saw a the post game show on the NBC Sports Philadelphia and they were ripping Rojas, and I felt it was unjust. He made a heck of an effort to catch that ball. If I remember correctly, they spent more time ridiculing Rojas than talking about how the offense came back and Clemmons got a walk RBI.

There is sliding in baseball, there is no crying in baseball, there is sliding and crying in baseball

I was at this game. I was sitting up the first base line about even with Nick Castellanos so I had a good sight angle on this. I saw Rojas going back and it looked like it was going to die at the wall. He jumps up and catches the ball. While the fans are freaking out and I see the ball pop out of his glove over the fence. I immediately shouted, "Oh, crap!" And you see Lowe circling the bases and you know what happened. And the best part about the 9th inning is when Buddy Kennedy came up. He's sort of a local boy being from Millville, NJ(Mike Trout's home town) and the entire crowd was chanting "BUDDY! BUDDY! BUDDY!" It was fantastic.

I have not seen such sadness since the Ring doorbell video of a woman dropping her pizza late at night. She melted the same way.

I'm surprised you didn't key in on the BUD-DY BUD-DY chants by the 40k in attendance. It was LOUD. Then of course it rolled into Kody's at bat too. lol.

"I hope you don't mind" the hatred for gambling ads is becoming canonized in the content. Beautiful.

I was at this game! All the drunk Philly fans were so confused for a solid minute

Rojas is far from the best player on the Phils, but he’s gotta be my favorite Philly. Love to see the boys come through for him at the end

I can't believe there's no mention of the Buddy chants! I was at that game and it was such an incredible vibe
