The fact he went and bought billboards to thank them instead of just tweeting it like most athletes or making a pass release and the fan who caused the fans to help him are amazing. This is awesome. Truly awesome.

As a former baseball player, there's a very lonely feeling when you are making errors, striking out and just playing bad in general. You start to beat yourself up, your teammates start to get frustrated with you, and it's a vicious cycle. For me, it would typically be other players or coaches that would pick me up, when I was in a in the pro's, most players don't care and a lot of coaches see everyone as replaceable. So it's super cool to see the fans be there to pick him up. You have no idea how much he appreciates that. I guarantee you his play has been effecting him at home as well as on the field. He will never forget it.

Absolutely helped him. I’m sure he woulda improved on his own but having a whole city rally behind you like this has gotta help your mentality and approach so much. Hope he finishes on a high note and gets some great postseason action

Parents, educators, take note. This is an accomplished adult. A professional. One of the top players in his sport. Tremendous potential. Floundering badly. Responding to praise. To the fact the fans want him to do good. Results speak for themselves. If it's effective for Trea Turner, imagine what sincere encouragement can do for a child.

Oh the tears Oh the tears...Its beautiful when we come together this is a powerful display of just how powerful Love is. Negative energy can be so distructive but the power of positivity will always resonate deeply within ourselves and each other! No doubt a win for Trea Turner, Philly, and the fans.
