This 2017 McLaren 570GT was recently offered to us and a little bit of digging unveiled it's sketchy history. Or rather, it's owner's sketchy history which resulted in a good deal of his property getting seized by the government.

So the question is...does it matter? How does this impact the car?

Shouldn't be an issue as long as cops didn't abuse it.
I don't think the irs drives them around.

He very likely bought both from the same person as a package price and just split the price in half for recording reasons.

Anybody else thinks the new shows suck? Ok suck is a strong word but defenitaly seem very sanitized and way less organic. I assume you they're not live anymore? The natural banter of the live stuff was the best.

Enough of the fawning over the F1 hype. It is ostensibly a very flawed car, woeful overly heavy shift, clutch, unpowered steering, unstable at high speed, bland looks, bland exaust note, terrible A/C and clumsy central seat ingress/egress. I guarantee many newer McLaren's are more rewarding to drive....until they break.
