Fax! If we seen better opponents more often boxing would be completely back. Instead it’s fight 2-3 meh no namers than boom a super fight. Like at least we’re getting the super fights now, but can we get activity? Can we get fighting the best even if it doesn’t give the best bag? That’s what we need. Feels like the only way promoters can make super fights is by allowing fighters to take years to sign. Why don’t we have good promoters anymore? Why can’t they promote a #1 contender bout? These are critical moments in boxing HISTORY which is simply grazed over due to promoters not having the skill to do as their job implies. Why are fighters like Terrence Crawford only getting hype and superstars at his fights when he’s about to retire!? A superstar is the best thing for boxing. Promoters should make more of them. Teofimo lopes should be a superstar, how is teofimo not? He’s so entertaining every time. Guys like Josh Taylor in his prime should have felt the reward for being undisputed, instead most people have already forgotten he was once THE guy. My point is, normalize being a superstar before getting a belt. And don’t hate just because they’re young and not moving like loma (getting a title shot in his first fight)

I like the Crawford vs Canelo fight because it's an opportunity for both of them to show their greatness and Canelo doesn't want it because he knows it's a tough fight for him stylistically.

The term promoter means something. They only promote the fight but if you promote the fighter the fight would be easy to promote.

I think boxers should realize that only a few of them can really generate millions in revenue the others should accept a pay cut even if they are champions, that way promoters could organize big fights without losing money and the sport would grow. Right now the only ones that really sell ppv are Canelo and Ryan Garcia the others shouldn't ask for 10 or 15 millions given they can't even make it even.

THAT boxing went down the drain when they got paid more.. If the standard payment would be like 50k per fight. They would fight as many times as they can (if the rules don't regulate it.)

Today? Some got contracts. 2 fights/year for 3 years and you get 10-20m.
The vast majority getting a lot lower ofc. A few thousands, some tens of thousands. a few 100ks. Depending on your name.
Madrimov for example got 98k before he fought Crawford. (He got a lot more for fighting Crawford) So if they would get that kinda money, they would fight a lot more. The sport would be so much different. Imagine if there would be a worthy fight every second weekend. They could make us pay for a sub. I would 100% pay for a yearly sub if there would be fights.

All fighters care about is their record. I've seen on another channel someone say that Mayweather is leagues better than Ali just because he's undefeated. If u dodge certain people just to maintain ur record to me that's weak as hell. The UFC took over combat sports and 1 major reason was because the quality of boxers has dropped dramatically. Heavyweight fights r trash because they have no real technique. It's just wild swinging and them getting exhausted quickly.
