what can one change in regards to personal self-develppment.

jim rohn suggestions:
* philosophy
* habits
* thinking / mentality
* discipline
* make new / different choices

what i would add:

* skills

why? employers hire workers that are valuable to their organization.

what is an easy to become more valuable?

skills.

example: college education. trade jobs.

these make one more valuable thru skills learned.

example:

programming is a skill that tech companies will pay a 6 figure salary for.

you learn it from college of all places but a college degree is what employers place a lot of weight on their decision making process on.

sales is a skill that pays ALOT. however this is a skill best learned on the job not in college, imo.

accounting is another skill that is always in demand becausw everybody is required to pay taxes and businesses will always need someone to account for their finances for taxation purposes.


there are also trade skills:

carpentry, landscaping, mechanic, electrician, and many more.

so how does one become more valuable to tge work place and society? learning a skill that is deemed valuable to others.
