Alfa AWUS036ACH External WiFi Adapter on Kali Linux with Monitor Mode

This is the second video in a series I am doing in which i use this usb adapter on Kali linux. in this video I show how you can put the adapter into monitor mode and use airodump-ng to scan the air around you.

on kali linux 2024.1 2024.2 u no longer can fix the drivers for AWUS036ACH to put it into monitor mod. if u know how to fix this issue ill be glad to follow your steps

I recently purchased this adapter, but after I set it all up I still cannot see the wlan0 when I run "iwconfig", but if I run the lsusb command, I see it. How can I fix this?

Hello how to make Alfa AWUS036ACH adaptor name changeable I mean wlan0 to wlan0mon. Not manual automatically? The reason I ask this is because in airgeddon, evil twein wants to convert the name deouth to different names such as mon0 or mon1 and cannot translate it. All Alfa AWUS036ACH adaptor name not cahngeble you just change it manually like (ip link set wlan0 name wlan0mon).

I have the Alfa installed, in monitor mode, but when I “sudo airodump-ng wlan0” it scans but I don’t get results populated.

I can see there are plenty of SSID’s around me. I don’t understand, my firmware is correct, I did the check kill, my screen looks just like yours right until that point.
