ok for anyone who is stuck on the handle extruding part. In the somewhat left corner of the screen it shows X Y Z make sure the selected axis is the correct axis your rotating around.

In 3:55 you might as well press Ctrl to snap rotate 5 degrees and get an even mor accurate orientation. Again great tut, I´m learning and enjoying this alot!

When I "solidify" the cylinder, only the side walls are extruded and the bottom face is not. How do I fix this?

When I press H to hide the geometry it desappears completely, I dont get a wireframe version like you in 5:46, may be my graphic card? I have x-ray mode on and Solid viewport shading. I was able to follow the tutorial nonetheless, but it would be helpfull to have the reference of the cup to shape the handle. Any thoughts?
