I am in my room eating Pringles, so I thought to myself "I don't want to go all the way down to the kitchen to get a stupid cup" so I used the Pringle jar. Not only did I break all the Pringles, I made a huge mess all over my desk. Sometimes I worry about my future.

I learned this in 4th grade and still remember it perfectly.

Clap, clap (clap twice)
Tap, tap, tap (tap table or top of cup 3 times)
Clap (clap once)
Lift (lift cup)
Down (put cup down)
Clap, lift, touch, down (clap, pick up the cup, touch the cop of the cup to your palm, put the cup down)
Switch palm (Switch hands, holding the bottom of the cup now)

Interesting, your version is slightly different than the one I learned. The beats are the same, but we tapped on the top of the cup instead of the table. I've also seen a longer variation (which is actually what I've been looking around trying to learn, but it's a hard thing to search for!)
