Yea bro your right scammer, beggars and people with no patience . I visted old delhi and it was the worst day of my life when we arrived to visit jama masid 4 - 5 guy with camera came to us and told that they will take photo we said no but they were forcing so we left as fast we could and when we were walking down the road some beggars came and started saying "GIVE ME 5₹ OR WE WILL TAKE YOUR BAG AND YOUR DEVICES" in hindi so we just give them 5₹ and ran to hotel after some days later we got to see the market then we find shopkeepers following us and saying to buy there product and we just ignored and left that area because that area was smelling like URINE and we just left after 1 day

I went to Bangalore India about 7 years ago. Pretty much the same except I didn’t notice as much scamming going on. I never drank anything but bottled water and only ate at restaurants. The thing that really sticks with me is how they honk their horns. Constantly blaring their horns drove me nuts.

Funny enough, I’ve been to Old Delhi twice and loved it. We ate the street food and didn’t get sick, spent time shopping and going to places like the Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb and felt safe walking around. Yes, the hustling is insane (I just walked away saying no thanks to shopkeepers until they chased me with much better offers). And I wouldn’t go there alone as a woman. But it’s a crazy, vibrant city and I love it.
