testing of indigenous camouflage for tanks is a very good news. It means that FRCV prototype will not be just another prototype with current tech which becomes outdated till it reaches production.

We should finalize the jet engine deal with france at the earliest.

With very unrealistic demands of IAF- i remember mahohar parikar statement that our forces demand are straight from marvel comics

Hal should update and increase the current facility to accommodate in producing more fighter jets.

We should realise that China is our biggest competitor not Pakistan and should plan future defence plans accordingly

If Dassault agrees to the terms of the MRFA contract, then India must order 114 Rafale along with 26 Rafale M in a G2G deal with maximum ToT. The deal must be signed within the next 5-6 months. This will save both time & money in the long run. Else, the other option is to order 36 additional Rafale jets along with 26 Rafale M with condition for domestic assembly and then scrap MRFA. This will end the 2 decade old MMRCA & MRFA saga allowing the IAF to focus on Tejas Mk1A, Tejas Mk2 & AMCA.

For AMCA engine, it might be better to go for say Rolls Royce depend on what each offers, Safran has piece of their pie already, also in terms of engine development, the top three engine makers are RR, GE and P&W. GE has been delaying supplihing F404 and F414 engines, perhaps due to politics, but then RR makes a safer bet ensuring we keep the proverbial eggs (future of IAF, not depending on the same basket

So the eligible partner is Swedish Gripen E only, sadly this is the reality. They have GaN radar which is more advanced than all the fighter aircraft on offer MRFA program.

The new Air chief of IAF might be the chief that IAF needs, rather than those in the Past,

Non of the private companies ready to invest in big weapon projects bcz lack of experience. So India should consider a new strategy, make private public companies, 50% share by government and rest of the 50 by private. Assign some HAL engineers to this private public company. And split the work between these companies. Tejas 2 is not that complicated compare to amca. So transfer Tejas 2 project to this New company.

Why is HAL is not expanding it's production units 🤔 if it expands it can produce more🤔

Source code will enable to be independent in making future aircrafts without any foreign interference and ifs and buts. Good demand. Let's see how many country comes forward.

Mrfa is dead project instead of concentrating on mrfa we must buy 3 or 4 squardons of rafale or atleast buy kf21 and 6 to 8 squardons of tejas mk2 depending upon trails and concentrate more on amca fighter jets 300 to 350 and start a development of sixth generation fighter jet for the replacement of 4th generation fighter jet after 2055 or 2060.

New Air Chief has said HAL delayed Tejas 1 delivery and asked whereabouts of MRFA program. But Political government has been deaf enough to focus on silly portfolios and promotions of Gujarati lobby, Adani and Ambani.👍👍👍👍👍👍

IAF is putting so many conditions in MRFA deal that eventually it will fizzle out on its own. Instead IAF should go for Govt to Govt contract for Rafale and focus on Tejas program, which is full control of India. After all, Mirages have served IAF so well over the years. Moreover, one Rafale can do job of 2 Mig or 2 Tejas, so its a real force multiplier.

Have been hearing of MRFA deal for the fifteen years plus and isn't tiring to keep on talking about it when no firm decision seem years away?
