Even if F22 Raptor is offered in MRFA, it will be rejected because it lacks India specific enhancement.
MRFA has become a joke at this point.

Now KF21... Drama with MRFA doesn't seem to end.

HELINA's trial is good news. India's expertise with missile technology will make it a viable option for foreign buyers if it is cleared for export as well.

Absolutely a very good idea if kf21 participates in mrfa. It will help immensely to both countries. First india can ask for ToT from South Korea which no country is offering in mrfa. Second for 119 kn ton engine cooperation. Third new tech for our own AMCA. Fourth future collaborations. And last but not the least it is superior to KAAN in performance and cheaper. It gives immense benefits to both countries. Win win for both nations. All the best.

Why build a new heavy attack helo ground up when the Apache longbow is the best in its class!

The IAF should consider collaborating in the KF 21 programme. The S. Koreans have managed to bring an advanced platform into production in record time.

Kf21 may be the best option if offered at a similar price or lower compared to rafale. Both are really similar in specs with a few differences. Rafale has more Harpoints and Payload capacity (14 Harpoints vs 10 Harpoints & 9500 kg vs 7700 kg payload). Kf21 will offer slightly better frontal and side RCS due to its design. Kf21 will operate in f414 engines which will be used in Tejas mk2, amca mk1 and tedbf, this will make logistics very good for India, f414 has proven to be a very reliable and long lasting engine. Rafale can deliver nuclear payload. Avionics & performance are going to comparable I think. So if Dassault is too strict with their policies, India can acquire kf21 without much of a problem.

India should stop its MRFA Practical joke and purchase Single Engine Gripen.

HAL has worked hard over several decades to earn credible reputation of always being late. I appreciate their effort in maintaining it during Tejas delivery. No body in India believes in their timelines, forget about foreign buyers.

For every jet, India wants TOT. Why would a top notch new jet like Rafale and KF21 would do that????
They have got a huge market, many orders so why would they share technology.
This demand of India is just seems unreasonable to me.
India should stop begging for technology and buy these jets, and invest more in R&D to get our own technology.

the Indian Army could pursue Lockheed Martin to revive the RAH-66 Comanche multi role attack helicopter gunship . . . or the more recent the Raider X helo . . .

Going with KF21 is a better option compared with american and french fighter jets.

Japan and S.Korea are difficult countriies to deall with. They are very rigid with defence hardware

No need to consider Gripen in MRFA unless its used to drive down the competitive price. Gripen will be the last fighter from SaaB now that Sweden has joined Nato.

The MRFA programme is like Kollywood male superstars & their starlets- new hopefuls keep coming even when the hero is pushing sixty😅
