I'm 6'5" and have the moonroof in my SR5P and have no head clearance issues with my 4Runner. I do have the power seat and the seat all the way down though. Look into powder coating the roof rails, that's what I did an they look awesome! I'll actually be selling mine in the spring when my roof rack gets installed

So far I am very satisfied with all my service visits. Looks like I am gonna hit 15k before the year of ownership hit though, I am at 6 months 13k miles as of yesterday.

I have a Gobi Stealth rack (with “no rise” option) on order for my Cement TRD Pro. I’m hearing it’s a 4-5 month wait but I believe it’ll be worth it. Also, tell them you’re military. I got a $100 discount on mine.

According to the dealership maintenance checklist, your oil level is overfilled. The check mark is outside the two dots on the dipstick diagram

When I took my 4Runner for 5k check, I was very surprised that synthetic oil is changed every 10k.

The only thing i disagree with is the 10k oil change interval.
Took my Runner in yesterday and couldn’t believe with 5k miles they don’t even change the break in oil.
I denied the tire rotations as well, read on forums some people have horror stories of a mean tire/rim wobble issue after rotating.

Thanks for the vid, now i know what to expect when 15k roles around for mine.

If you don’t want to spend $1500+ on a Gobi, or wait 4+ months, check out Artec Industries. They make an interesting crossbar/support rail setup. Less than $500, might be worth a look.

Only 1hr, wow, compared to here in Sunnyvale, California, that's fast. I've dropped the car off at 10am, and car was ready by around 3pm for a 15k :-(

You should try to get stationed in HI you would barely put any miles on your 4 runner haha, also once the lease on the rav4 is up you should talk her into getting the new gen that is comming out soon, those look so nice.

15k service is a rip off! Why do people pay for this crap! You are very naive if you think they actually torq your lug nuts, what a joke.

You should take it to the dealership every 1, 000 miles. Give the poor dealership more of your money. Let’s make it every 750 miles. When you are load with money, just give away.
