CORRECTION: At 2:53 Tb = 2956 lb∙in, not 5912 lb∙in

Professor I think there may be a slight error at 2:53 as the equation should yield "2956" for the torque at shaft B, I think you may have dropped the division by 2 in the calculator.

Does the tangential force force remains same if there is one more parallel helical gear attached to it? For eg a helical compound gear, will the tangential, axial and radial force remain same with only change in torque per shaft as per no of gears on it?
