Young lady I have been a blacksmith for 38 years and I have never seen a more beautiful damascus billet made. Well done.

Forging this without a power hammer is excellent craftmanship! It's master craftmanship. Respect, young lady 👍

The way you talk about your work, the feeling of it becoming a part of you, speaks to me. The passion for your work is as amazing as your finished pieces. And when you mentioned that you are not the hero.... I'll just say this, there were tears. Thank you.

No power hammer, no press. Fresh out of surgery. It shows your determination and love for the craft. Beautiful work.

Hello. My name is Charles. Back in the 80s I worked at Fort vancouver, wa black smith shop. There was a young girl there just out of high school working with us . She was the only female smithy I knew untill one day about 4 months ago I found your channel. Man what a glorious find. It is great to watch an amazing artist that can do what you do the old school way. You have magic in your hands. I will continue to follow your channel. Love the art and work you do.❤️

Love to hear that anvil ring. Also appreciate real craftsmanship. I enjoy blacksmithing myself and will someday build a gas forge. I am still using coal with billows

Fascinating and a joy to watch blacksmithing is not just hitting metal as hard as you can with a big hammer it has finesse that is not first recognised, when you were forge welding the stack, with every bend to create the next layer I could almost feel that it wanted to go anywhere but down like the whole thing wanted to collapse creating drama very clever and had me lol, I have watched blade masters work with such patience and finesse that not all smiths can master, your talent for smithing is up there Fay and considering everyday is a lesson .

You are officially the coolest person I know of. You hand forge and finish everything you make and now you have incorporated Star Wars into your narrative.

Excellent! Being a fifth generation blacksmith, I can appreciate the work that went into creating this bar.

I am so, SOOO envious of your skill. I wish I could have my life over again, because I'd give up all the things I strived for, but never succeeded in achieving, because I didn't follow my heart. Prejudice and family pressure pushed me down the wrong path and once on that treadmill, there was no turning back; a fact I have resented for most of my life. My one pleasure is working with metal, but I never had the means to run my own workshop; mainly due to financial constraints. Trying to borrow money from British Banks, to start your own business, was - and is - extremely difficult, during a time of Mass Unemployment, which the UK has suffered since the 1980's. I've always admired the skills of the Blacksmith and had circumstances permitted, I would have become an Apprentice to one, wherever I could find one to teach me. Now, it's too late, as I'm a pensioner and suffering ill-health. Life can be so cruel. Keep up your good work and keep pumping out your videos, as they are a joy to behold.

Great job on not only your normal work here, but the added special effects were awesome. Would love to see you cosplay as The Armorer while in your forge whacking away at something. Thank you for giving us something to look forward to with these videos.

This is the way. And I love the fact that the music has echoes of Rey's theme running through it!

mastery, artistry, dedication, determination, strength of will, strength of steel, strength of flesh and bone, poetic beauty... and all of it together, unrivaled.

This turned out so well! It looks just like the beskar steel... and to think as a kid I used to be wowed by blacksmiths at fairs twisting lil lantern hooks.. There’s so much time and patience in ALL things you do! I’m always rooting for you beautiful❤️
